Dr. McKerney has the ability to provide limited same day Urgent Care Services pending the nature of the condition and location of your home. These are conditions that while potentially uncomfortable are not life threading and the pet is stable. Urgent care conditions that can likely be handled include:
- Ear infections
- Gland issues
- Hot spots
- Simple corneal ulcers
- Limping
- Mild GI upset
- Small wounds
Urgent care cases are taken on a case-by case basis. If your pet is having an emergency or is unstable in any way you should seek care right away at an emergency facility. In some cases if a pet does not respond to medical management of a condition or seems to decline referral to a larger hospital may be advised.
Same day urgent care fees are $125 on top of regular exam fees.
